Although a native of Mobile, Alabama, Dr. Edan D. Moran has strong roots in Louisiana moving to Baton Rouge in 1980. After completing his training at Charity Hospital in New Orleans, he and his wife, Lesley, moved to Alexandria in 1998 to begin his private practice in Gynecology. A few years later, in 2003, he helped cofound Alexandria Women’s Center. Edan and Lesley have 2 daughters, Lindsay, and Lacey. While maintaining an active Gynecology practice, Dr. Moran’s areas of interest are advanced da Vinci robotic surgery, female urinary incontinence and pelvic reconstructive surgery.
